Need a cheapo build for chrome, Microsoft suite (Word) and adobe acrobat

Doing a fictionnal school project where I need to do a budget with project and Excel. Got 1500 for a notebook, PC and internet. Need a cheapest good PC for running Microsoft suite and chrome and acrobat.

how about the 600 bucks budget build in my sig? well I'll try and edit it to go much more lower.

cpu is really good for the price.
motherboard not sure if you need a bios update since I haven't tried it with the g3258 yet.
memory is much more than enough but hey you might use it for something else so put a 8gb there but can go down to 4gb if you need the price to go lower.
storage is good enough and the 500gb is just a few bucks lower and not worth it imo.
case is pretty good since I have it also but for more bucks I think the elite source 210 is better for the extra tool less stuff but if you will be building it and forgetting it then yeah the normal source 210 is decent.
psu may not be amazing but it does it for the job you intend it to do.
operating system can be 8.1 or windows 7 whichever you prefer.

yep.

 

actually even some cheap HP/Dell desktop will do the trick but custom builds are just equally great for the experience and all.

 

difference though is.

 

dell/hp goes haywire = rma the whole stuff.

 

custom goes haywire = go find out which has problem and then rma.

 

but here on LTT you can always ask here and a buttload of people are willing to help.

although sadly there are times where I see no one is replying for like an hour or so which I didn't reply too due to not knowing any answers :(
