i7 5960X, ASUS X99, 32GB DDR4, 2x GTX980, 850W 80+ Platinum PSU, Corsair 900D, Dark Rock Pro3

800x600 CRT monitor... 3 of them in surround...

Imma get myself some of these

and these http://www.cdrking.com/?mod=products&type=view&sid=19052&main=34

(completely not serious here... Might go for an i5-based system with 10TB+ storage, triple 1080p monitor setup, and repair my component system by replacing the caps with newer audio-grade caps)

Is that CPU sluggish? I was thinking.

Nope. Honestly, I don't like anything past the Core 2 Quad and the Core 2 Extreme.
