Is there software for desktop upgrades

NEWbie1

Hi guys I have recently purchased a couple of cheap outdated desktop PC's, for my nephews. I was wondering if there is any software out there that can search the PC and recommend upgrades. For example recommend compatible RAM, CPU etc.

Not that I know of. I guess the Windows performance report thing kind of shows where the computer is weakest, but it's not exactly reliable.

I don't think there is, isn't a bad idea though to be fair. If you post the specs on this forum in the correct section people will be more than happy to help.

Unless you are making the program, you're posting in the wrong section...
