What are you talking about? They are all different non-reference 970s...

Every manufacturer (ASUS, EVGA, MSI, etc...) has different features, different PCB layouts and power delivery, different types of cooling, and each one has a different price tag.

G1 gaming and WF are a little different from eachother.

Computing enthusiast.

I was confused about this for a while but the more expensive one is the G1 Gaming and the cheaper one is the regular Windforce.

 

Basically, the coolers are the same, but the G1 Gaming has a better binning process and comes with a backplate (which I don't think the regular Windforce comes with).

 

They're also very good at not making this obvious by not showing you pictures of the back of the card for the regular Windforce.
