Lian Li PC-v359 Overview/Review/Build

TannerThanU

Lets take a look at this hard to find case! Took my about 3 months to find this puppy ;)

Pros:

Light

Silver Colored

Best Looking MATX Case

240mm Rad Support (x2)

Filters on every ventilation

Good Hard Drive Support (1x2.5" 3x3.5")

Long PSU/GPU support (280mm GPU?)

Very good Looking Acrylic Front and Top

COUNTER SUNK SCREWS MUCH FLUSH VERY SMOOTH

Cons:

Small case

Back outtake needs fan, Its completely open without one (I used a filter to cover)

Tight Water Cooled radius? (AIO recommended)

Filters are hard to install with fan

3 Pin Fans (Although they are quiet)

Tight Cable management for front I/O

Overall I enjoy this case for it's aesthetics and light weight, it may be noisy due to the 3 pin not being controlled via my motherboard but I do find it silent enough to game with headphones on. The front Acrylic and Top make for viewing your components very nice and a clean cable setup is essential due to the open look. In the front there is a wide enough gap to route all cables but there wasn't anything to tie them down underneath the motherboard tray, so my cables are just routed in a fashion so you can't see it unless your looking at a birds eye view. I enjoy this case and will do a full custom water cooled loop in it, but I find the lack of space for a proper radiator near the GPU makes it impossible for a SLI/Crossfire Configuration. This a great case for air, or an AIO solution.

That CPU fan looks like it's not really getting much air. unless it's pulling air through.

Computing enthusiast.
I use to be able to input a cheat code now I've got to input a credit card - Total Biscuit

PUt the 120 on the other side in pupll, so there is more room to draw in air
