The H wireless is an amazing headset. I am not sure about its wired counter part, the elite's now have prism which looks badass, and astro's have meh sound.

Different revisions from what I can tell. And prism has customizable colours on the side

None of the above. I would get the hyperx clouds.

They sound great, but the mic is pretty bad.  I got one and after some evaluating I determined:

-mic volume is very low

-mic sometimes bleeds PC audio into the mic

-despite having a windshield, mic still sounds awful when user is breathing

I think I'm going to be returning this soon.

Why would he get those if the ones OP listed are unarguably better? Has the hype gone to your head?! :o

They're $80 bucks. He would save a lot of money for something almost as good.

I guess, that would be if he was actually trying to save money though. He listed some high end gaming headphones so I would assume that he isn't looking at anything sub par.

Imho, if youre spending more than 100$, you shouldn't be buying a "gaming headset" anyway. :)

Headsets under $100 usually have crappy microphones and most of the time you get what you pay for. Stand alone mics like Yeti's pick up too much background noise and some people don't want to have to deal with a mod mic, it can be a great solution for some people but not all. Either way the Hyper X cloud is a great headset if you are on a budget, but OP is clearly not.

Yeah, but those are common issues with pretty much every headset. You can't assume OP would have the same issue(s) or that another headset wouldn't have similar problems.

They are pretty common issues, but there are a good number of headsets out there that have better mics.  The reason I can assume that OP would have the same issue is that many other reviews out there all say the mic is the weakest link.

Actually I'm pretty certain mic bleed is not common.  I don't remember the last time I've heard it prior to using the Clouds.  It's not even that the speakers are so loud that the audio is reaching the mic, the signal is just somehow seeping in.
