My First Build

Hey this is my first build and I have a few questions

 

My specs

 

Core - i-7 4790k

Mother Board - Asus Hero Vii

GPU - 2x Asus DCU2OC GTX 760

Power supply - EVGA 750W 

Case - Cooler Master Haf-X

RAM - G. Skill Ripjaw X 8GB

CPU Cooler - Nocuta D14

 

I was just wondering if running dual GPU will help me run games like Skyrim and Shadows of Mordor better then a single.

 

Is 8GB of ram sufficient?

Dont get two 760s.....get a 970 or a 980. :)

 

8 gigabytes of ram is fine for gaming at the moment.

Motherboard is good but overpriced.

If you do get a 970/980 like you should, and don't SLI them or plan to soon, get a PSU between 500-600w.

 

Otherwise its fine.

The thing is I'm on a budget. I can get 2 760 for $400

970 is cheaper then that. it's around 320$ if you wait a little awhile

Computing enthusiast.

Get a single 970 for less than that and save money by getting a 500-600w PSU and a motherboard under $150.
