Are there any blu ray optical drives that come with software that read blu ray discs?

Alir

Does anyone know of any blu ray optical drives that come with software for playing blu ray discs?

The ones I've found so far come with no software or worthless software.

The drive plays the discs, I don't think they need software. Literally any media player should work.

Specs are on my profile page

Not true Jesus Guy. You need software to read blu ray discs.

VLC will probably be my only choice, but I was hoping for some free software with a BR drive - seems logical that if a company sell a drive capable of reading blu ray discs they accompany it with software that can play blu ray drives.

LG do.

The free version of CyberLink PowerDVD 9 is good enough, the popups saying to need to update the software to play a blu-ray are BOGUS

it's just a trick to get you to upgrade to the paid version.

Check your stores, even some OEMs come with basic disks
