should be able to.

Hi guys I was just wondering if I would be able to run a 1440p display off of a thinkpad yoga's mini hdmi port, I know I will need a "High speed" (Category 2) cable but I was wondering if the port would support it.

Thanks

yeah im pretty sure intel graphics can drive 1440p

Even if you do have a dedicated GPU, i bet the displays are still controlled by the iGPU

What CPU is it?
