Save it for your next cpu+motherboard

Since you don't want to upgrade your peripherals there is nothing to upgrade other than your Motherboard and CPU, which $300 won't cover. If you have to ask us you should probably just save the money.

NEVER upgrade for the sake of upgrading

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

Yeah I'd say either save it, or replace all the stock fans with Noctuas? :D

Or, you can get a side panel replacement for the C70 that doesn't have those hideous vents in it. I think they run like $40 in the states.

My (first) build: i7 4790k | Noctua NH-U14S + NF-A15 | Gigabyte Z97X-SLI | G.Skill Ripjaws X 2x4GB 2133MHz CL9 | Samsung 840 EVO 120GB | Seagate 2TB SSHD | 2x MSI R9 270X TwinFrozr crossfire | Seasonic G Series 750W 80+ Gold | Asus VX238H 23" | GAMDIAS HERMES | Logitech G602 | Steelseries QcK | Windows 8.1

It all depends on what you do. If you are playing a couple of video games, I doubt you would see much of a performance boost going up to an i7 4790K from your cpu. If you are editing, you might notice a difference. Definitley not a difference that would be worth $350. I'd just save the money, it will feel like you are burning a hole in your pocket but trust me when the time comes along you won't regret it :D.
