what size motherboard could fit in an imac g3

Now I know nothing would fit nativly, but would it physicaly fit inside, forgetting about mounting it

mATX is (at maximum) 24.4*24.4cm.

 

So I think you could definitely fit a mATX build in there, but you'd have severe trouble cooling it.

Dont worry,I can get one with no CRT or components inside it.

I could probably cool it... Add ventilation.

I might go itx to have extra room tho.

I hadn't thought about the possibility of dedicated graphics.

In this case, if you got a big card that would probably be your main source of airflow unless you managed to put some fans somewhere.

So how much do you plan on spending on this build?
