Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro Mic Super Quiet

I have a set of Beyerdynamic COP's with the microphone accesory. My problem is that the microphone is very quiet. I have tried all the settings in the sound control panel, but nothing has helped. My motherboard is a P8P67 Pro which has a Realtek ALC 892 audio chip. Im willing to buy an external audio solution if neccesary.

I had the same probleme but with the Antlion Modmic, I don't know how I fixed it. I think it was with the different mic options available wihtin Windobe

Are you plugging the mic into the front audio ports or the motherboard ones?

Motherboard.

Didn't the ModMic have problems with a lot of soundcards and mobos?

Does anyone know of a decent USB soundcard with a mic input?

Just for laughs, plug it in the front and see what happens.

I am having the same issue with my MMX300 microphone

super quiet, in the rear (MSI z87 g45) in the front, and in all my laptops , also the headphones are fine, but my sennheiser momentums I hhave to have my pc volume at like 30%... I have my pc at 100% with these, yet my motherboard says headphones up to 600ohms

I don't think so. My problem was mainly on CSGO. Mic very silent. But It has something to with the signal and flow/port. Just need to find the correct one to choose and to plug to.

Theres always microphone boost in the audio settings if its an option although it does lower the quality somewhat.

Also no doubt you have already done this but move the microphone around and keep testing it see if its the positioning.
