gtx 760ti OEM on alienware x51 r2

vexen

So i'm trying to fix a pc.

Whats wrong: It doesn't want to switch from the onboard GPU to the nividia gtx 760ti. also while running DXDIAG the gpu doesn't show.

device manager finds the card, but displays the yellow triangle with black explanation mark.

when installing drivers: selected manually from nvidia or via autodetect doesn't change it.

also the drivers on the DELL website don't seem to affect it.

little side note, the motherboard doesn't have any video outputs so the HDMI is connected to the 760ti card itself. (so it kinda does work)

alienware x51 r2 - windows 8.1

sorry for the "sloppy" english.

thanks in advance

Mathias

Go into the bios and disable the iGPU.
