you can't overclock with a h97 chipset, get a different motherboard or a non -k cpu

Try and get an 850W G2 EVGA power supply to cover you for future SLI

 

Why spend like $48 on fans, just get a better case with better fans pre-installed

To reiterate, if just for gaming 8GB RAM is more than enough and I expect it still will be for a year or two to come

you CAN overclock will MSI, Asus H97 mobo, won't be as good as Z97 though
