What is a good website to buy unlocked phones?

Im searching for a new phone. I look at newegg and amazon mostly for stuff I order, but does att and tmobile one sell unlocked phones that work with any sim? I like the one plus one it has very good reviews online, but honestly I doubt ill ever find an invite and I can't be bothered trying to jump through hoops for the slight chance of one.  ONE MOAR QUESTION D: Why are there quad and octo core phones on newegg and amazon? I know the octo cores dont get LTE but is there any actual benefits for giving that up? I really wanna get a note 4 or an s5 because I wanna buy a samsung smartwatch but eh idk. Anyway, any site suggestions?

the octal core phones have awful battery life afaik. if you wanted a phone used and unlocked, you could check out swappa.

A good site for unlocked phones is swappa.com, you can buy used phones as well as new unopened ones.
