Windows 8 can't change os

Go to solution Solved by Fax2u,

Fixed the issue. hopfully ubuntu will install without a problem too http://prntscr.com/51ft21

You will be able to install it, but you still won't be able to boot into it. The Windows 7 logo will flash briefly on screen but then it will lock and reboot.

What about ubuntu?

I believe the result would be the same, but I have not had personal experience with that scenario so I cannot guarantee it.

Using another PC still may not work. I've done that before (installed Windows 7 on a laptop drive hooked up to my desktop) and put it into the laptop only to get an "insert boot media" and quickly get a bluescreen soon after.
