FX-9590 Best CPU ever made.

Oh yeah I said it, pick up your keyboards and fight!

Anyway the silliness to the side why do people hate this CPU so hard I mean the flame, and pure fan boys just start to throwing insults... I'm relatively new to the hardware scene and I know that this CPU has a TDP of 220, and requires a relatively big PSU not to mention the cooling as well, but when you think about it if you go all so called "high end" people will get water-cooling anyway (I'm sorry for generalization that's just what path noticed over the forums). Also people like to mention that this CPU will bottleneck high end GPU's which I think is absurd sure SLI and CrossFire was never the thing on the AMD side from what I know (at least for the last 2-3 years), but for a single cards a big no no on my side. I always see like oh just go for an i7, I'm sorry but from what I saw from the popular benchmarks i7 , yeah sure it operates 5% faster under lower TDP and PSU requirements but a 100 extra dollars for a good i7 is not worth it in my eyes. I would like to make a note that 9590 were cherry picked to be able to reach that 4.7 GHz clock speed so I disregard 8350. I would like to hear ALL of your opinions, but please base it on some facts, benchmarks, price, TDP, PSU requirements, and Cooling.

Thank you for your answers in advance also I'm sorry if I made some rookie mistakes I'm new to this so I just want to clear things out for myself.

Only fanboys buy a 9590.

This.

I have a decent boiler, no need for a 9590.

so much fanboy this and fanboy that, now what if you are a youtuber that edits video ALOT and renders it, you will sure gain an advantage with 8 cores at that mammoth clock speed, and at 100$ less that i can put into something like a noctua d15 or a corsair h110, it is worth it for me....

The 9590 is a binned 8350. After the 9370/9590 launched it was a lot harder to get a 5 Ghz 8350. There was a huge debate of 8350 vs 3570k and the 3570k still for the most part won. Add on hyper threading and a new generations better IPC. An 4790k is better than a 9590, plain and simple

the 4790k totally beats the fx, that is not any new news, but at 100$ less you must consider it

Why the flame?

The FX 9590 is fucking over AMD users.

All of the high binned FX 8xxx CPUs are gone, because those become FX 9590s and FX 9370s. The CPU's power consumption is higher than two i7 4790Ks. It's heat output requires an $80 CPU cooler. It's still lagging behind Intel and AMD spent their time and money binning FX 8-cores instead of pushing hard on their CPU development to make something new. I know it costs them a lot less to do so, but it would cost them much less to not bother at all.

Not if you run folding most of the time.......

Running a 8320 @Stock speeds & cooler with Asus R9 270X at factory stock speeds, it's a space heater :D
