Ear Buds for around $50

atomicmonkey101

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for some ear buds for about $50 (+/- 15ish). My main concerns are durability and sound quality. To some extent I would also like them to be comfortable. Not like driving a nail into my ear every time I put them in. I have looked around a bit and cant really find some fairly definitive answers as to what are generally considered good ear buds. btw, I dont really have a preference for in canal or not.

If you have some knowledge to impart about the experience you have had and products that I should either get or completely avoid, please leave it here.

thanks very much! :)

If you can spend a bit extra, look into the VSD3 from V sonic.  They're similar to the SE215 in sound, but like 1/3 the price.

Last I checked I think they're around $45?

I like the NuForce NE-600X if you're looking for a super cheap option. VSD1S was good too if you like spending more.

definitely not - that's what the v1's cost usually.

So the VDS3's are a good option? are the cables durable? Sorry for the questions but I really dont want to be buying a new pair in 6 months time.
