A surprising series of events.

Today my GPU died. (rip HD5650 you were averagely good)

:(

After some troubleshooting I decided to switch to integrated graphics on my intel i5 2310. I was expecting performance loss, some more noise or something. But no, my PC is even more silent than before, CPU is at 1-4% load while browsing the interwebs. However I havent gamed yet, I think it wont be as smooth.

Any predictions or input?

Oven Trick? Whats that?

EDIT: I checked, maybe if i'm really desperate, this card dying is an excuse for a new/my own gaming rig.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Crysis 3 run at a smooth 60 fps @ 4k.

I don't really know but if its something like Intel 4000 HD it should run game like minecraft just fine!

My PC: i7 3770k @ 4.4 Ghz || Hyper 212 Evo || Intel Extreme Motherboard DZ77GA || EVGA Hybrid 980ti || Corsair Vengeance Blue 16GB || Samsung 840 Evo 120 GB || WD Black 1TB

Peripherals: Corsair K70 RGB || Sentey Pro Revolution Gaming Mouse || Beyerdynamic DT 990 Premium 250 Ohm Headphone || Benq XL2420Z Monitor

The Oven Trick (repairing your broken video card with an oven)

A video Linus needs to make imo!!

I do that quite often around here, but with motherboards. I repaired a Onkyo stereo receiver not too long ago with an oven as well. It is always worth a shot to reflow those solder joints.
