After installing wifi adapter on my pc, my local internet connection slow down

I have installed wifi adapter drivers to my pc, so wifi adapter works fine but when i turn adapter off my local connection is slow. My internet speed should be 20 MB download but it is not it is about 15 and it slows down with a time. When I restart my modem it come back to normal, but slowing and slowing down :( On my notebook everything works just fine. I uninstalled adapter drivers from my pc but problem still exists. HELP PLEASE (sorry becouse of bad english )

Seems Like its a problem with the ISP itself..... Sorry can't Help :(

but on my laptop internet speed is ok all the time

Some routers will do network priority. It wouldn't hurt to look around in your router settings.

It could be the fact that you are using wireless, lol.

 

How many walls are in between you and your router? How many other wifi access points are picked up (sit and check by your router with something other than an iOS device)? What is your router's model number? Do you get the same speed when using wired?
