You download a Bitcoin/Litecoin or whatever coin you mine, it's wallet. Then you can send and receive whatever coin through it. You should probably research this stuff yourself.

It would take a while, but sure. I recommend mining a Scrypt based coin like Litecoin, Dogecoin, and Reddcoin.

No you are not mining right. First off you are on a mac, so that is bad, and you are wasting time mining, unless you have an Asic Miner

 

Edit:

You also spelled "Mining" wrong, so a third point you are Mining wrong
