Can't open ps store (PS3)

So recently I noticed that I can't open the playstaion store, as soon as I get to the blue screen with a few of the headers at the top my ps freezes, I think this has something to do with my ps plus expiring. About the time it stopped working my ps plus should have expired but I can still play all my free and exclusive games and still have the ps plus tag on my profile, so my question is does anyone know how to make the ps store worn again
