Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

I couldn't care less about Battlefield and Mirrors Edge. But as a huge Star Wars fan, I am seriously looking forward to Battlefront. 

What do they know of England, who only England know?

I hadn't heard anything of this game (Battlefront) until today.

 

Seems a bit of an early release time, no? Or am I just used to games taking years? Anyway, if they get it to us in a year that would be great. Did they keep it under wraps? Starting to like EA.

 

I just googled and they teased it at E3 apparently. Nice.

 

I look forward to a new Star Wars Battlefront. It's nice to mow down non-Jedi. Yeah I know it's cheap. :P

There was some early footage at E3.

 

Can't really post anything since at the time of post there is no other info, pretty sure gaming sites will spill more. 

The reason the info is dry is that it was all revealed during a EA internal financial conference call.

DICE is huge, over 500 people, in theory they can handle annual releases but I lost confidence with BF4. Maybe they learned from it, we'll find out.

 

I'll update the OP once (if) more info is out.

I'm REALLY hoping that Battlefront will be a great game. I extremely enjoyed playing the first 2 and would be let down if the third one ends up being a typical modern shooter.

I'm definitely skipping Hardline (at least it appears that way right now), and if "Battlefield 5" is another modern military setting it had better do something pretty special to pique my interest or I'm skipping that too.

 

Super interested in Mirror's Edge 2 and Battlefront, though.

I doubt they'll cock up battlefront, they can't afford to. The fan base that battlefront has would never forgive dice if they screw up battlefront. As for Hardline it looks as if it might actually be pretty good, of course I would never pre-order another game but I am cautiously optimistic about the game :) 

 

No Bad Company 3? :'(

I'll wait for a "fully" finished version of the game.

 

aka after a year it comes out since atm dice/EA seem to love not releasing a finished product and "patches it" continually for over a year (looks at current BF series)

"BF5" can't/won't be BFBC since they are 2 entirely different brand names / series.

i think battlefront will be better as a result of years of sorting out issues on BF4 and the fact that frostbite engine has matured with it.
