Autorun Blocker - AntiAutorun

Hello! This is my first topic on forum and I want to share with you nice piece of software I've been using for around two years. Its small program that protects you from all viruses that rely on autorun.inf files. By that I mean when you connect your USB flash memory or any external memory that has autorun.inf to your computer it will automatically rename it to "autorun.inf_current date_time" and by doing that prevent its execution. I found it very easy to use. Its best to put it in startup folder or use built in function to start with system every time. When running it consumes about 1 MB of RAM and consumes about 17 KB memory on drive. When running, program will be shown in tray and can be configured by right click on its icon.

Program IS NOT MINE. I found it on some random site when looking for program that does exactly that. Sorry if there are some mistakes in text as english is not my native language.

On same website you can find two more programs but I didn't tested them.

It's great, except that Windows doesn't run autorun.inf off USB drives anyway (at least not Win7 SP1).

I know they introduced autoplay feature but i didn't know "open" option is removed. Its nice to know. Maybe this will help some XP users :)

edit: after some reading I found that almost all windows systems that are updated with latest patches have autorun.inf feature diseabled.
