will this block/ruin/break ota updates to shield tablet?

Will viper4android block/ruin/break ota updates after the root app is completely installed and setup? Thanks for any help!!!!

No, but you might lose root if you update

I can just re-root with towelroot. BTW, how sure are you of that?

I ran stock rooted 4.4.2 on my Nexus 5 and still got OTAs to 4.4.3 and 4.4.4 (as long as I used stock recovery to update) but root was broken after updating and required re-root

OK, then what if I used an app like "nextapp sdfix" to give back ability to write to sdcard? It modifies a system file to do its job. Would that do bad?
