I remember six years ago when I was a tech noob my mom bought a laptop from Best Buy and they convinced her to buy a $35 USB A to B cable for her printer.

Its just because the general public that shops at those stores dont know any better... :(

xD I didn't buy it my friend did but he's returning it lol. He told me the price and I thought it was funny. My other friend a while back went to get an ethernet cable from the same place and it was $30 for cat 6 15 ft.
