Windows OPK For Personal PC?

UndefinedPersona

So I bought an OEM version of Windows 7 to save a few bucks. Microsoft suggests that I use their OEM Pre-Installation Kit (OPK) to install Windows 7 on a system intended for resale. Since this is my own machine, do I have to bother with the OPK? Can I just install straight off the disk? Anything worthwhile in the kit?

Seems like I can't use the OPK unless I'm a Microsoft Partner anyway. Oh well; no free copies of Windows 7 for me I guess.
