Laptop Suggestions

I have no idea where to put this, but this seemed like the bast place cause its called reviews lol

I am having some trouble figuring out what laptop to buy. I want something that can handle some gaming (for when I am bored) and has a decent battery life (for when I have to do homework and not be tethered to the wall), but wont break my bank (preferably under $1500). Some of the games I will be playing is Sims 4, Civilization: Beyond Earth, Smite, flash games, Team Fortress 2, and Insurgency nothing to high demanding like CoD or Titanfall.

in my opinion you should buy a laptop for under 700 $, and if you want to do some gaming buy a mid range dekstop. I don't really believe in gaming laptops under 2000$.

my advice is buy a laptop now, play games on low settings and save up for a decent desktop, that's what i did.

if you're up for that, the lenovo u430 seems like a pretty solid buy

I got a Lenovo G50 with an AMD A8 in it and does ALL of these things perfectly. I love the thing, I leave it unplugged for awhile, then plug it back in whenever I need to. It can run games like Minecraft at around 100 to 150 fps I play World of Tanks on medium at around 30 - 40 fps usually.

I got it for $400 on sale at TigerDirect.

It's amazing what AMD APUs can do with there awesome integrated graphics. Do NOT waste $1500 on it though at most spend 800-900.

EDIT:

Here's some nice ones for you on Amazon, I found the G50 I have for 499 about 100 more than I originally paid but I'll add a couple more for you :)

I was looking to spend closer to $1000 mark and it will be used for light gaming on the go, I don't mind if I have to play on medium graphics, not a dedicated gaming laptop that can play games on ultra graphics. I will be using it in college so the main selling point is battery life
