Triple monitor question

Artama Meyer

Hey guys, Lets keep this short:

I have a EVGA gtx 970 scc.

And now my question is can i use 2 1920x1080 monitors on the side and a 4k in the middle?

Or would that look bad?

Also any suggestions on 1920x1080 monitors with slim bezzle?

Thanks

You won't be able to game on them all at once.

You can use it in day to day use, but it might be disconcerting for you.

All it will do is drop your 4k monitor down to 1080p to match and it will work. But running a 4k monitor in 1080p would look horrible.

As far as I know, unless this has changed with the 9xx release, you need 3 of the exact same monitors to work in surround. For example, I recently tried to set up 2x BenQ XL240T and one BenQ XL240TX in 3D surround, and they are the EXACT same monitor, with the only difference being an included 3D emitter and it failed to work because of the different model numbers (though this may have been because I wanted 3D surround or another issue).. So you can't have three different monitors with the same resolution or different monitors with different resolutions that I am aware.

You can use AMD EYEfinity and it will scale down the 4k monitor to 1080p, but that will probably look bad.
