If you haven't heard of ello its a new social network that is invite only, the beauty of it is that there is no ads like Facebook, and they don't farm your information and sell it like Facebook to monetize it, also its beautifully designed. The only thing is that there isn't many people on it yet

 

I recently got an invite so if anyone wants to join let me know and il send you a code just pm me or let me know in the thread.

isn`t it that social network that was started by LBGT community to be faceless?

 

If yes, then it does not really interests me, as basically it would not be anything more then a forum

on a side note: There is a social network for Rich people. it costs something silly amount (eg thousands of dollars) just to get into there

Facebook started just like this.. innocent, ad-free, fun etc. aaaaaand...

Then they got big, fat and greedy. Not a good combo if you ask me. ;)

I know another company that's has gotten big, fat and greedy and it's named after a fruit. ;)

don't get all the hate for ello, if they can find a way to monetise it without selling your information or slapping ads everywhere then I don't see the problem... people are just cynical i guess.
