Strange temps question

Hi internet land

Pc specs:

mobo: Asus ranger VII

cpu: I-5 4690 oc-4.1Ghz

gpu: R9 290 oc- 1140Mhz

8 gig ram

samsung SSD boot drive

Cpu/Gpu custom water-cooled loop with a single 280x60mm radiator ( planning on installing a second of the rad soon once i've build the case for it)

when i leave my pc to idle and eventually going into sleep mode (monitors turning off whilst the tower stays active) the temps on my Gpu climb to 50-55 degrees

(normal idle about 27-33 degrees), I normally see 50-55 degrees when it's under heavy gaming load.

Hopefully someone is able give me some insight whats going on?

That's some sort of sleep/driver issue. Try reinstalling AMD drivers, or get the latest ones. That is strange but it does happen sometimes, I've seen it happen on my PC and sometimes on other peoples laptops. :)
