What is a good motherboard to get for i5 4440?

Hello,

I am trying to configure a pc with i5 4440 and gtx 760, but don't know what motherboard to get. The case i currently own is micro atx, my ram is 2*4GB HyperX ddr3 1866 and my budget for the motherboard is under £60. Could anyone please recommend me a good motherboard for that price?

This (http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00KHZ7Y0C/?tag=pcp0f-21) would be a better choice. A nice colour scheme, better audio, better basically everything.

Reason I went for a Gigabyte board is that in the UK ASRock, Asus and some others have really bad support, whereas Gigabyte and MSI have decent support :)

EDIT: For a micro atx board, this one would be the best choice: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-h97mpro4

thanks, but again, i dont think it will fit in my micro atx case

Z97 is just that bit more "futureproof" (rumoured to support broadwell etc) and will support faster RAM like yours (B85/H81/H87H97 won't)

But if Str_mape has experience with that board, I expect it will be a good option too :)

Some H97 boards (at least from asrock) also have support from broadwell, that being said if he's buying an i5 the chance of him upgrading to broadwell is pretty slim as that would be a very negligible upgrade, how ever for only an extra $5 it's probably worth it.

just realised, it says it only supports up to 1600mhz memory. is that ok or a problem?

it will just downgrade your ram to 1600 MHz which won't make any real performance decrease, how ever if you can stretch to $63 I'd go with the board suggested by syun222 for better support - http://www.ebuyer.com/657587-asrock-h97m-pro4-socket-1150-vga-dvi-d-hdmi-7-1-ch-hd-audio-h97m-pro4.
