Custom loop setup for a 4790K

Hey guys, can someone recommend water cooling parts for a cpu loop only for a 4790K, somewhere around the $250-300 AUD mark, also, what is a good case for me to put it all in? if it can be easily upgraded to include a gpu or two that would be awesome.

Phanteks Enthoo Pro or Luxe.

Are you wanting a custom loop or AIO cooler?

I'm assuming that 250-300 is just for the loop without the case?

Look into some kits from XSPC, AlphaCool, Koolance, or Phobya

Go with the best water cooling kit from XSPC, Alphacool or EK you can find for <300 AUD that fits in the Enthoo Pro.

Hint: this would have to be a 240/280/360/420mm rad with a thickness of <45mm or less in push or pull in top.

and the only difference i can see is the thickness of the radiator and the pump.

You will have to get

http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=207_160_45&products_id=23457%C2%A0

if you want it to fit inside the Pro.

The pump on that one kind of scares me though...

Get the Luxe, its an amazing case with more features and better build quality than the 750D.

With the Luxe, you are given 65mm of Space within the case, and an additional 25mm of space on the top of the case.  This allows you more options in terms of radiator thickness.

ok, should i just leave the water as the coolant, or should i buy something else, i like the look of the blood red EK coolant, but i have read and heard that red coolant can completely screw up tubing and radiators.

Yea, adding coloring is not something I would personally do.  If you want color, buy some colored tubing, UV tubing, or LED lights.  Maybe a combination of these.

Just use distilled water, nothing more.

Couldn't tell ya bud, this is about the extent of my knowledge when it comes to custom loops.  I'm an AIO guy myself.

Easy fit in the roof for all Enthoo series cases.

Biggest Rad in the roof is the 420 by 45 with fans, any thicker than that, your looking at over hang on the main board. You can also fit a 240 in the front, and 240 in the bottom in the Enthoo Pro.

I'd stick with a kit. Either Alpha cool kit will be fine, and if you have a bit more, the two EK kits that PCCG stock will be ok as well.

For the tubing, PCCG have the Primochill LRT tubing, both the kits use a 10/13 compression fitting, so anything down that line would be ok.

Sorry for being late to the party, just been doin a few upgrades and de-blocking my two 570's.

MOBO: ASUS X79 Pro CPU: i7 3820 Ram: Corsair Vengence 32Gb 2133mhz (8x4) GPU: 2 x Sapphire R9 290 in X-fire PSU: Seasonic G series 750w Drives: 1 x 750 gig WD black, 3x WD Black 1TB, 1 x Segate Barrcuda 1 TB, 1 x Toshiba 2TB, Intel 520 240gig SSD Case: Enthoo Primo w/ Green and Blue LED lighting.
