Is Borderlands good game?

lovingGamer
Go to solution Solved by Semper,

Which one?

The first one was... underwhelming on PC

The second one was solid, really came to light with all of the DLC

The pre-sequel is good... but short, remains to be seen what DLC adds to it.

I can strongly recommend both two and the pre-sequel if you have a few friends to play them with. They're lackluster solo.

Be mindful of the art style, I know a few people who can not play the game for any longer than about an hour without developing a headache.

I played Borderlands 2 on my PS3 (hate incoming, yes; some of us do still use consoles) and personally I didn't really like it. Never played the first or presequel.

I enjoyed it despite playing it solo 99% of the time.  I love the art style and the bosses I have seen thus far are interesting.  I would say though it would be much more fun if you could get someone you knew who was at an equal skill level with games to play it with you.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

The first was boring as hell, the second was pretty fun, haven't played the third.

I played it with a group of friends (and only with them), and it was AMAZING. Probably had the most fun playing this game compared to any other games. A huge part of it was because of the teamwork and playing with friends because the game is well suited for groups.

Im playing borderlands 2 solo ATM and im enjoing it like a badass. Great AI. There are a few bugs that bother me, the dust map has a Physics problem where yo fall under the map constantly forcing you to go to settings and Set that option to low.

It's good if you play with friends if not it's just boring. I tried borderlands 1 solo when it came out and i stopped 30min latter

4 player coop is well implemented. That way it is really a lot of fun.

Doesn't really matter which one. I played all of them. Actually started out on PS3 with the original.

So yeah if you have some buddies who will play it with you, it is a definite buy.
