Help Deciding on a Mic

I am trying to decide which mix I am going to get. I think I want to get the at2020 but I am not sure if it will pick up my keyboard to much (in my sig). If it will can i get some more recommendations?

A condenser mic like the AT2020 will pick up pretty much everything. If you want something that doesn't pick up as much background noise, you'd want something closer to your face like a modmic.

I rigged my rode video mic pro on top of my monitor.  It picks up just my voice pretty well.  This is obviously not an ideal solution but when its not in use it makes a great desktop mic.

 

What kind of switches do you have?  Blues are going to be picked up by everything.  Hell you can hear them through a wall.

The mic has a magnet at the end and you get magnets that you can stick onto a pair of headphones (or any other surface).

I might look into those as they are quite cheap so i might be able to get a new keyboard aswell :P
