Anything that I can do to make this build better?

This is for gaming and moderate to heavy multitasking.

Max budget of $2100 USD, but wouldn't mind it being lower.

Anything I can do to make the following build better? Will a 970 be enough for 1440 or should I get a 1080? :

Looks good, but honestly at this time, windows 7 is dying. Its definitely a good idea to get windows 8.1, as windows 10 will be a free upgrade (windows 10 is awesome)

K, thanks, but I'll stick with my few extra months of win 7 over ever having to use win 8. Additionally, night theme Is amazing looking, didn't know I could change it :).

yes, get a 4790 instead, an h97 platform if possible, and a 980... you dont realy need that a strong i7 for gaming, even for multitasking... but you do need a gfx card

What do you mean by moderate to heavy multitasking? Also, only 1 display for what might be heavy multitasking?

Are you planning to sli?
