Individually Sleeved PSU Cables?

CowsGoRoar
Go to solution Solved by Enderman,

You cannot use the corsair sleeved cables for your PSU because they are fully sleeved. They go from connector all the way into the modular interface on the PSU. This is a custom modular interface, every PSU has a different one, there is no standard. So those cables will only fit into a specified corsair PSU.

What you need to buy for your PSU are "sleeved cable extensions"

These plug into the end of your current cables, that is why they are called extensions. Only the part you will see is sleeved. These cables DO NOT plug into your PSU directly, they must connect to the 24 pin, or 8 pin, or whatever it is you already have on your PSU. These cables will work with any PSU as long as you buy the right kind (like a 24 pin extension will only work for the 24 pin cable)

If you want fully sleeved cables you will need to custom sleeve them yourself. Your PSU manufacturer does not make sleeved cable kits. AYou can also pay someone to do it for you, but that will cost more than buying a completely new PSU fro corsair with a sleeved cable kit.

Where can I get individually sleeved power supply cables? Corsair made their own cables for their power supplies but they don't recommend them for other brands of power supplies. I am using a Seasonic X750 80Plus Gold PSU and looking for black or red (or black and red) sleeved cables. I don't care about budget right now, I just want to know where to get them, and they need to be able to ship to Canada.

I want full cables, not extensions.

They are extension cables so pretty much the non-sleeved stock cables that come with your PSU plug into them and you plug them into wherever

Edited my post, I want full cables, not extensions. Extensions are fine on cases with the power supply shroud.
