No. You will need to plug both in for it to work properly. You can use a molex to PCIe adapter, but if you only have one connector then you probably shouldn't be using your PSU with that card.

You need to have both plugged in one is not going cut it, you can get a molex to 6 pin adapter if you are lacking an extra 6 pin. Just make sure your PSU has enough wattage to drive the new GPU since it only has a single 6 pin.

tbh if your PSU doesn't have 2 6-pins connectors I don't think that you should be using that PSU with that card in the first place.

Those adapters usually dont come with the GPU, you have to buy them yourself.

And if your PSU only has one 6 pin connector you probably have a really crappy PSU that is not powerful enough for that GPU.

You will need to buy a new PSU first unless you want to have a fire.

Its not a VGA, just so you know.

also, if your PSU doesn't have those connectors on it, you probably shouldn't use that PSU with that card.

I'm running a 7870 without the necessary connectors just fine.

If the card was purchased brand-new from retailer, they should be included in the accessories.

I recall all my more "modern" graphics card purchase comes included with one or two of these adapters (i.e. Vapor-X HD 7970 came with two molex-to-8pin adapters....my HD 4850 from 2008 came with a molex-to-6pin adapter).
