Occassional random BSOD's

Timmyfox

So for several months I've had a few BSOD's, only like 2-3 in the last year or so, so I never really looked into it as it just seemed like a random error and didn't repeatedly occur. However I had another about a week ago with a different error message and now just a little while ago I had TWO ones in a row.

It seems like it occurs usually when I click something. I recall one happened when watching something on youtube and I clicked on a link in a second window and the most recent one was when I clicked on a link to view a topic here on the forum.

The errors, as far as I can remember, are pretty much always "KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED" except for one which said "SYSTEM_THREAD_NOT_HANDLED" and mentioned "atikmdag.sys".

  • OS: Windows 8.1 x64
  • System specs are in my signature and anything not listed there should be listed on my profile. Previous BSOD's occured on an older build though, running an i7 2600K, an Asus Z68 motherboard and an older pair of RAM (4x4GB Corsair XMS3, 1600MHz)
  • Not really entirely sure what software I've had running, but it's suppose it's safe to assume that Skype, Steam, Dropbox and Firefox have been running each time seeing as I have those running 99% of the time.
  • Dumps: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/71642360/BSOD.rar

If there's anything I missed that's needed to figure out the problem, just let me know :)
