Please don't let it be a V300 as the SSD, they are horrible because of the crappy NAND in it.

Change that R9 290 for a GTX 970. It will consume less power, so you don't need to spend a fortune on a PSU. For a PSU I recommend a good quality 500-600W unit. Like Cooler Master V550 80+ Gold (Linus recommends the V series)

Might want to consider the evga G2 power supplies, if they're available in your area. I also like to have some headroom left, but if your dead set on the configuration and not planning on crossfire or SLI in the future it should be enough

If I had the same build but with a GTX 970 and wanted SLI in the future what do you recommend for a power supply?

Pretty good build but I would rather use the intel anniversary pentium instead of a and CPU also use a 970 instead of the r9 290

Tbh no way, the pentium is a complete mismatch for a beast like the 970/290

OP, are you sure you can't go Intel? There's no upgrade paths with the AM3+ socket anymore, buy into it and when you want to upgrade you'll have no choice but to change motherboard etc. At least with Z97, if you got an i3/i5 you could upgrade to an i7 in the future, and then possibly Broadwell should it be supported (this is rumoured.)

If not, the 8320 is the same CPU but cheaper and lower clocked, just overclock it yourself and voila, an 8350 for 8320 money :)

Check the link I posted to enlighten yourself. It's a review and comparison of the G3258 up against much more expensive CPU's, done by TomsHardware themselves. AliveGhost13... do yourself a favour and read it. G3258 + GTX970 vs i5 + GTX760 = The first combo will smash it in games and gives much greater scope to get more performance by adding a better CPU as funds allow in the future.

But I would go for a i5 4670k if you had the money and switch that motherboard for a gigabyte Z97X gaming 3 or 5 motherboard if you have the money.
