Need help for optimal air cooling for Fractal Design Arc Midi R2

Ak1gs

Hey all!!

I'm new to the forums and would like to get some help with my computer setup. I'm looking to get optimal air cooling with the components I have and as minimal sound possible.

My main issue is that the corsair fans are running extremely loud at 2400+RPM and it's really annoying. Which is why I bought 4 x Arctic F12 Fans.

Specs:

Intel i7 2600k (planning to OC to 4ghz)

8GB Corsair Dominator (2 x 4GB)

EVGA GTX 560 Ti

Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H

750W Power Supply

240GB SSD

1TB HDD

Fractal Design Arc Midi R2

Corsair H105 WaterCooling

Just purchased 4 x Arctic F12 PVM Case Fan.

Fans:

2 x Corsair H105 Stock Fans

3 x Fractal Design Stock Fans

4 x Arctic F12 Fans

How should I setup my air cooling and which fans should I mount them to? Any help would be great please!!

Thanks in advance and I greatly appreciate any tips!

You could just use the stock case fans..

The fans you bought are only going to add noise.

How about replacing the radiator fans on the H105? I think the stock fans on the corsair is the one running extremely loud.

The stock h105 fans are quite loud. Where are you shopping/located? Budget?

I purchased 4 x Arctic F12's already and they arrived today. I was hoping to see if these are good for the radiators at least.

If you're suggesting me to purchase different fans, please let me know so I could return these. I thought these fans would be good at $10/each and it had really good reviews.

I'm not looking to pay more than $15 per fan.

Thank you for helping. I appreciate it!

They're alright fans but not really worth $10 each and are better suited as case fans.

It'd be good to return them if you can. What kind of dollars are you using?

The Arctic F12 Rev. 2 are decent fans for $10, but the original F12 aren't that great.

Either way, GELID Silent 12 are much better fans and cost a similar price
