I need a Power Supply.

timmysquires

Hi all! I need a Power Supply to run a MSI Geforce GTX 750 Ti and an Asus A88X-Plus running a AMD A6-5400K. Please keep it under $100Canadian Dollar. Thanks! <3

If you have any other suggestions for the Graphics, MoBo or Proceesor please say!

Just buy a p.o.s. that's bronze rated. You'd be mad to buy a gold rated PSU for such a low end build. BTW you realize that combining an A6 with a 750Ti is a big mistake right? Without it's graphics cores, that's a total joke of a CPU. You'd be much better served by H97/G3258 overclocked than you would by an A6. You could gain as many as 15FPS in a lot of games. That's huge. If you insist on sticking with AMD get an Athlon X4 which is an A10 with the GPU cores dead. Much better. Still not as good as an overclocked G3258 though.

If you insist on building this "mistakeropiece" get a Corsair CX430. Usually the cheapest PSU out there in Canada.

Intel Inside. Overweight guy in his 30's outside.

Not really, a X4 760/860K would also be a good choice as a alternate for the A6.

Evga 500B or CX500

I will look into getting a different CPU! Any cheap suggestions without the need of overclock?

i had choices and that mobo was no extra cost to what it already costed... Same with the APU! Anyways if anyone can build a budget upgrade list it would be awesome!

If it's actually $18 for an APU and a mobo then who cares, get it.

18 bucks for a cpu + mobo just get it bro no way a 70 bucks cpu alone would ever top that.

evga 50B seasonic m12ii 520w 80plus bronze would also suffice I have both these psu and both are good. IMO for the seasonic one get the newer one with flat cables.

No dude. He's building an uber budget box. He needs the cheapest PSU that'll "get 'er done" and not roll over and die on him. Cheap the fudge out brah. CX430 all the way. Especially with a 750Ti those things draw less power than my smoke detector.

can't really recommend stuff I have no first hand experience on brah.

cx430 never touched one so no go on my recommendation. I only recommend stuff I've ever had first time experience unless TS got a really awesome deal like that cpu + mobo for 18 bucks. your 750ti  + cpu + mobo all adds up. yes the 750ti would outperform it but the price to performance on that 18 bucks is very amazing.

Live your life like a dream.
