Server error just kicked me out of BF4. Lost my level up and everything.

Is this stuff not saved as you go?  I lost a battlepack and a level up when the server errored out.

Is it just me or is Grammar slowly becoming extinct on LTT?

You might regain it later. That has happened to me once before. 

I refreshed my Battlelog page and I got my level and my battlepack so I assume I kept my stars and stuff.  It was a very laggy time so I think it was a one off thing.  A lot of people got booted.

Don't worry, probably a bug or just maintenance. I just checked and mine is the same...idk... just wait :)

A "Battlereport" is generated at the end of each round - whether you were there till the end of the round or not.

 

When this is logged into Battlelog (the browser interface), then the stats/unlocks/levels are updated.

 

BUT if you rejoin a server before that battlelog is sent to the cloud, then the server will overwrite any pre-existing battlelogs since it's still logging - and you would lose the progress

 

so if you crash/exit out of a game, wait for the round to end and see that you got the battle report - then you got your progress saved

I actually rejoined before the round ended and kept the rang and battlepack so I assume I kept the ribbons also.
