for me its "james and the Giant peach"

truly one of the most disturbing things ive seen as a child

i still remember it vividly

what horrifying looking creatures

 

 

i recommend watching it

I wasn't scared by a cartoon but I watched Jurassic Park and Tremors when I was about 6, that lead to a lot of sleepless nights, I also regret watching They when I was 9.

yeah holy shit, some extreme cartoons were more than my narrow tiny child mind wanted to comprehend at the time. 

too bad i can't name any specifics though, probably a few episodes from "Courage the Cowardly Dog" but i'd say that was definitely on the lighter side compared to others.
