Yes I think so. I also want a damn 990.

In how long will it come out? in one year? Because I may get the 980 and I don't want "GPU Envy"

Well the 780 Ti released about 6 months after the 780 did.

Probably no 980Ti.  980 is already the full GM204.  Anything newer would be a Titan or a new GPU range, 1xxx series. GM200 and GM206/GM210 aren't out yet.

The 780Ti exists cos the 780 was not the full Keppler chip.   The 980 on the other hand is based on the GM204, which is already fully unlocked on the 980.  Any further improvements will not be based on the GM204, and highly unlikely to be named the 9x0 series.

GTX 990 Ti...

*Fapping Breathing intensifies*

But yeh, it'll probably be about 6-9 months.

Hmmm, never knew that, well now there is a peice of evidence against the creation of the GTX 980 Ti.

Should most people even care? A GTX 980 ti (which I don't think will come) would be more expensive than the GTX 980.

Most people are already convinced that the GTX 980 isn't worth the $200 price premium over the GTX 970.

If you're hoping for a dual GPU version, that will probably happen.

Yes it exist

My sources told me it will come out in 79 days, 5 hours and 22 minutes

it will be called 980Pl(atinum)

It will run Assasins Creed unity on 1080p High settings (for Ultra it needs 4sli)

To be honest, many thing points toward a new line of GM200 series of cards, like of Titans and 980Tis

We are assuming end of this year or Q1 2015 when AMD answering

Not likely in this case. The next generation of nVidia cards should be on a completely different process.

Yeah, but not the GM 204.  Nvidia doesn't mix chips in the same series for their high end cards. And I did say GM204 lol xD

Their might be an improved version of the 980 but if there is its highly unlikely they are gonna release it until AMD bring out a competitor. Which as theyve just laid off staff in preparation of doing badly i dont think they have anything that can compare.

So in a round about way you are saying that like 7XX series was we will have to wait for 10XX series to see GM210.

Probably not.

However, 990/990ti makes more sense.

Anyone who has a sister hates the fact that his sister isn't Kasugano Sora.
Anyone who does not have a sister hates the fact that Kasugano Sora isn't his sister.
I'm not insulting anyone; I'm just being condescending. There is a difference, you see...
