Well CPUs look different, could we have a specific CPU?

PCB provides a base for the electrics

Contact pads/pins obviously meet the ones on the socket to form data connections etc

Heatspreader is the metal lid, just to help heat transfer from the silicone die

The visible parts of a CPU on the outside are the heatspreader, the pcb, the contact pads/pins and a few components (capacitors I presume)

Do you mean the CPU, the chip, or "CPU" the whole tower and the popular wrong term to just mean "computer"?

Id assume any modern 1150/2011 CPU. They arent al lthat different. For Intel no major changes for 5+ years

Well that's the silicone die that makes up the actual bit that does the computation.

you're probably better off youtubing some videos because while cache doesnt do computation its all pretty important, also its not like ou can just look at 1 layer, cpus are multiple layers of circuits and get pretty deep.
