Any 23"/24" 1440p IPS monitors?

Go to solution Solved by Geekazoid,

Hey guys I'm looking a monitor for my new PC build, and I will only get a IPS monitor no TN, because I'm so conditioned to using IPS I can never go back to TN.

So are there any monitors that are 23-24 inches in size and have 1440p IPS panels? I can't get a bigger monitor because it won't fit where I want to put it.

Budget doesn't matter because I don't have anything as a reference, because I can't find a monitor like this anywhere.

Thanks!

EDIT: My GPU will be the STRIX 970 and I will be using this monitor for playing games like BF4 so I want minimal tearing

BenQ are releasing one, see here: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/233908-benq-bl2420pt-wqhd-238-ips-monitor/

I don't think there are any 1440p below 27". Does not make sense to me either since the pixel density on 24" 1080p is pretty good

I can somewhat see the pixels easily on my 21.5inch IPS panel from arms distance

Yeah thanks I saw that article once but couldn't find it again.

Any others? Or is that the only one?

Only that one at the moment. You never know though, with BenQ releasing the BL2420PT 24" 1440p monitor, you may just see other manufacturers do the same. Usually when one company does something new the rest follow like sheep. It's crazy! :D

Phones have 1440p displays and monitor manufacturers still say that 23" is too small for that resolution...oh God.

BenQ released one some time ago though.
