Which server? + What to do with it?

Should I start it now as a WIP build? I've got everything but the server right now.

EDIT:

And FedEx is shipping it, god I hope they don't throw it around.

Based off its weight, I think they'd have a hard time ;)

Look for a dell poweredge 2950 on ebay. I picked mine up for 45$ no hdd caddys or hdd's but it came with 10 gigs of ram dual xeon 5535's. and the hdd caddys can be found for 10$ a piece. Pretty nice specs for a cheap purchase.

Thats what I figured after reading everything. Just figured id add another option in case he hasn't already bought what he needs.

Would highly recommend Proxmox playing around with it myself at the moment KVM made easy

 

I have two ubuntu server installs one for teamspeak 3 and one webserver.

I have proxmox running on an Athlon p340 LAPTOP and it's running 6 openVZ ubuntu server vms flawlessly. Highly reccomend using Proxmox
