Ram wiggle

I was pressing ddown on my ram to make sure it was seated properly adn it wiggled a little Im wondering if ram is supposed to be abler to wiggle a little bit.

yes, like maybe 1/16-1/8 of a inch in both directions is normal

You're fine. Be sure to confirm the bios recognizes all of your RAM. If it does, no worries.

It's fine, as long as the BIOS detects the amount of installed RAM.

did you push it down all the way?
ram needs quite a bit of pressure to go in the slot properly.

It wiggles a little in each direction.

 

Does your PC boot and does your BIOS detect all the RAM? If so its fine :D

It wiggles a little in each direction.

 

Side to side is ok. Its more because of plastic-composite material of socket and module bending. But back-forth would mean that it isn't all the way in.
