How to Enable Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR)

NBKJOKER732

I thought this guide for DSR would help people out. I hope I'm posting in the right place. Quick note that this is working now on older cards, Fermi and Keplar.

Too bad the overlay is still tied to in-game resolution. Also, something else, which I hope gets fixed, is when you try to take a screenshot on a 1080p monitor when running at 4kDSR only the top left quarter of the screen gets screenshotted.

With all that said, I guess I'm lucky I can't really tell 1080p apart from 1080p@4kDSR.

In BF4 you can just crank the resolution scale up. It will effectively give the same result.

Bioshock Infinite would probably be a better usage scenario for DSR.

That can easily be adjusted with UI scaling in-game. This was just done quickly. And, I don't have any issues taking screenshots with it :/

Agreed, BF4 already has this functionality built in

Should try it in games that do not support it and games that do not have good AA

The in-game scaling option for Battlefield 4 is terrible and frames are not consistent with what one should expect at those resoltuions. It also doesn't go up to 4K. And given the ability to customize ANY option between in a game or my drivers.. I would take the driver every single time. Because Battlefield doesn't care about your hardware, the driver does. It is better optimized.
